Deepening Self-Compassion

In person at:
The Institute for Spirituality and Health

Houston, Tx 77054

We are a partner in the collaborative network of Compassionate Houston, whose mission is to grow the compassionate culture of Greater Houston through awareness, education, community, and service. For one week each year, Compassionate Houston tangibly showcases Houston’s compassionate culture through its partners’ offerings. That week is Compassion Week!

In collaboration with Gena Davis of YogaMass and Houston Crystal Bowl Gallery, the Institute will host an evening meditation accompanied by a sound bath to guide attendees to go inward and deepen in their self compassion within a nurturing community.

Featuring:

The Reverend Gena Davis

The Reverend Gena Davis is a priest and spiritual director. She is a visionary and teacher of Yoga & Yoga Nidra, Crystal Bowl Sound & Energy Healing, and the creator of YogaMass. She expanded into the energy of yoga to integrate yoga into her Christian spiritual life as a pilgrim and a priest. She is advanced certified in multiple healing modalities informed by her early work in human resources and master’s degree in Divinity from the Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest.
